Champagnes
Champagne techniques are strictly regulated and plots are very well delimited since the creation of the Champagne AOC in 1936. Aged for a minimum of 15 months, its stout bottles withstand the pressure of 5 bar - as much as diving fifty meters deep!
These precious and delicate Champagnes, such as Krug Clos du Mesnil, Dom Perignon œnothèque, Cristal Roederer, "S" Salon Blanc de Blancs or Jacques Selosse, which are available in our cellar, need the to be stored with much care. That is why Les Grands Chais Monégasques has recently been equipped with the last technology to keep them at the right temperature and humidity.
Champagne is a unique region because of its particular climate, soil and relief. But, there is also another important element : the winemaker who knows exactly how to get the most of the three Champagne grapes. Chardonnay, which adds liveliness, Pinot Meunier that brings roundness and finally Pinot Noir, the grape that gives the body to the wine.
Sometimes blended to complement each other, sometimes alone to express the best of each varietal, prestigious houses such as Louis Roederer, Pol Roger, Perrier-Jouët, Laurent-Perrier, Deutz, Billecart-Salmon, Bollinger, Gosset, Krug, Ruinart or Dom Pérignon are available in their different blends and vintages at Les Grands Chais Monégasques.
Two million bubbles in each glass trying to escape to the open air after giving us a fresh bouquet of acacia, mango, praline, lychee, baked apples or butter and a festive explotion of foams, the best cuvées de Champagne will awake all your senses at Les Grands Chais Monégasques !
